Join us for our annual Women's Conference: Woman of God. Our guest speaker is Tara Furman from Knowing God Ministries. We begin Friday evening, April 10, from 6 - 8:30 pm. Doors open at 5:30 pm with dinner beginning at 6 pm. Doors open Saturday morning at 8:30 am for breakfast and we will begin at 9 am. The Conference will conclude by 4 pm on Saturday.
Early bird registration is $35 per person and includes all conference materials, dinner on Friday, and breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Early bird pricing ends on February 8, and standard registration of $50 begins on February 9.
Tara will lead us as we dig deep into the following:
1. A Woman's Identity in Christ: What does God's word say about womanhood? God accomplishes transformation and redemption through a woman willing to stand firm in Christ and persevere in her calling.
2. Hearing the Voice of God: Scripture is the living, breathing Word of God. How we engage in Scripture significantly impacts our ability and willingness to listen when God speaks. We want to encounter Jesus, not just read about him. Tara will teach us practical steps for effectively engaging in Scripture.
3. Prayer: Like Scripture, prayer is a lifeline to our Lord. Using scripture in our prayer life is powerfully integral, and yet, not often taught. It transforms our understanding of how to pray, what to pray for, and what God truly desires in our lives and the lives of those for whom we are praying. We will spend time learning to use God's Word to pray and spend even more time practicing praying in this way.
