Today’s message will encourage believers to remain faithful and bold in the face of opposition or persecution, and to find comfort in Jesus' response to interruptions during the teaching moments of life.

Empty Faith

Today's message comes from Luke 11. In this chapter, we find Jesus criticizing the Pharisees for their hypocrisy; focusing on external religious practices while neglecting their inner wickedness and greed. Jesus warns about the consequences of neglecting justice and love for God, and emphasizes the importance of tangible sacrifice and love for others over religious rituals.

No Middle Ground

In Luke 11, Jesus drives out a demon from a mute man, leaving the crowd amazed but divided in their responses. Some question Jesus' power, attributing it to Beelzebub, while others acknowledge God's work. Jesus demands belief, submission, obedience, and repentance, leaving no middle ground. Reflecting upon this passage, we will see the need for examining our hearts before God and truly surrendering to him.
