Managing Anger

In today's message, we discuss the destructive consequences of anger. Jesus, in the Sermon on the Mount, equates anger and contempt with the destructive consequences of murder. Anger can lead to harmful actions and negative consequences, as seen in Mark 7:21-22 and Proverbs 14:29. Anger itself is not a sin but an emotion, and the Bible encourages being slow to anger and responding with kindness, compassion, forgiveness, and love. Think what could happen if you allow God to transform destructive anger into an expression of His love and reconciliation?

Unsettled Times

The importance of truth, honesty, and careful speech, especially in the context of politics and divisive issues is imperative. Christians must maintain their allegiance to Jesus Christ and extend God's grace to others, even during politically contentious times.
