Basecamp is a 5-night faith based summer camp at Zephyr Point, a lakefront conference and retreat center on Lake Tahoe. Campers will stay in dorm style housing, enjoy meals at the dining hall, and participate in traditional summer camp activities such as archery, kayaking, hiking, and a high ropes course. Youth groups from other churches (including our friends from Parkside and Elk Grove!) will share this week of camp with Loomis UCC, for a total of 40-50 youth in attendance. Zephyr Point employs an excellent staff of camp counselors who will supervise youth in their dorms and for all activities. Pastor Luke will participate in activities alongside our youth and be on property at Zephyr Point for the duration of camp as the Speaker in Residence for our session.
