Similar, Yet Different Luke 1:26-45 1. God announced in a similar way as to Zechariah, a miraculous conception to Mary. 2. God gifted Mary confirmation of the truth of what he promised. Takeaways: 1. John is something but Jesus is something else!! 2. Mary is lauded for her humility and faith, so let's respond to what God tells us in His Word in humility and faith. 3. I cannot promise that God will pour out confirmation in abundance to you like He did Mary, but I will promise that He is good, sovereign, and He delights in our humility and faith.
