Life at Longview Podcast Season 1, Episode 5 Release date, October 21, 2024 In this episode Lisa Wilson subbed in for Clyde and we welcomed Liz Jennings as our special guest. Liz is our volunteer leader of Longview's Women's Ministry. She shared with us how our ladies are studying God's Word on Wednesdays nights and Sundays. They will also have new studies available in the Spring, as well as one Summer study. We covered upcoming events: Fall Festival, SENDesoto, Women's Holiday Dinner, Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Sunday, and A Longview Christmas with the Heights and the Point. Liz and Derrick competed in a friendly game and we highlighted the Pregnancy Care Center in Southaven. Be sure to watch til the end to see who our volunteer highlight was for this episode.

Welcome to Season 1, Episode 3 of the Life at Longview Podcast! Our hosts are Dr. Derrick Wilson, Senior Pastor of Longview Heights Baptist Church and Clyde Bostick. Clyde is one of our deacons and active volunteers in our church family in many areas. In this episode we were happy to welcome our Children's Ministry Director, Lisa Clark. She shared with us how our children are digging into God's Word on Sundays and Wednesdays and through other activities. She also helped us with our "Upcoming Events" and "Podcast Games" segments. We also highlighted our Broken Vessels Grief Ministry, and recognized our children's volunteers in this episode.
