We are excited today to launch a new sermon series called, CORE VALUES FOR KINGDOM LIVING. Throughout this series we will cover the core values that we as a church hold to. Today we are kicking off the series with, "We Value the Word." Our primary text will be 2 Timothy 3:12-17.

Today we are concluding our CORE VALUES FOR KINGDOM LIVING series as Bro. Derrick preaches, "We Value Serving," from John 13 and Luke 10. We love to pray for our sister churches, and today we are praying for First Baptist Church Eudora and Pastor Steve Albonetti. Our Scripture memory for September is: Daniel 7:14 “And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.” Today's Song list is: Completely Know, Completely Loved His Mercy Is More Yet Not I But Through Christ in Me All Because of Mercy SERMON OUTLINE: We Value Serving John 13:1-20; Luke 10:25-37 1) We follow the example and teaching of Jesus by humbling ourselves and serving others for His glory and the sake of the Gospel. 2) We follow the example of Jesus by serving those who hurt and reject us. 3) We must commit to serve others, regardless of their attitude or gratitude.
