We are guilty, Christ saves. • Isa 55 is in a long line of explanation of the promise of Christ (Messiah/The Lord). Read Isa 54 which both establishes future promise & clarifies blessing now {vv14-17}. • Remember, chapters & verses were added for memorization. So Isa 55, would be a continuation of the line of thought from Isa 40. Therefore 55 is continuation from thoughts of 54.
