• Many debate if church started with Christ or Abraham. In addition to God’s promise to Israel [Joel 2 and Jer. 31], there is also a clear & distinct plan for the church too. They are two distinct but related entities.
• The church in Acts is marked by their devotion, cf 1:14, 2:42 & 6:4
