Our words have power - we can speak life or death - the Psalmist says a prayer to God that we can all join in with "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer." Psalms 19:14
We DO have the power to choose our words, let's choose wisely.
Contradicting the Contradictions

There is often a contradiction between our new identity in Christ and how we think and feel about ourselves, this affects the way we live, it affects our emotions. These emotions don’t need to be removed; they need to be reshaped. God wants to renew our mind by the Word of God. When you know the Word of God you can fight against the contradictions that come to you.
