Leader Launch 101

Leaders Launch for training men and women to love, lead, and serve in Living Stones Church as an upfront visible leader or the behind-the-scenes equipping leader. It’s the natural work of the Holy Spirit in Christians to grow them from regular attendees to invested influencers in His church. Leader Launch will give you a vision of God’s church and equip you to lead others and ministries faithfully, effectively, and fruitfully.


Some class topics include:

-Deeper understanding of the Bible

-God’s Story and Gospel Fluency

-Gospel formed living: How does the Gospel affect all life?

-Knowing yourself and your identity in Christ

-Understanding the work of the Holy Spirit and Spiritual gifts.

-Personal devotion through Prayer and spiritual rhythms -Caring for the church

-Facilitating Biblical conversations

-Understanding Spiritual Warfare

-Empowering and Delegation Skills

-Learning how to disciple others

-Living Stone's DNA and distinctive


Class times are the Sundays listed below from 1 pm-3:30pm:

Prerequisites 

1) Living Stones Covenant Member or in the process of becoming a member. Covenant Members have committed to participating in Living Stones Church in the following ways: -Christian Baptism -Consistent Sunday participation. -Consistent Community Group involvement. -Serving in the church. -Regularly and generously financial giving.

2) A desire to grow as a leader in the church. 

3) The willingness, availability, and capacity to participate in all the meetings, assignments, and projects. This cohort’s success depends on participation and preparedness for each session. Attendance This year-long intensive leadership training cohort consists of 15 meetings. Everyone is busy with work, serving, family, personal time, vacations, etc. However, each topic builds upon the other, making consistency and commitment vital to receiving the full benefit. You are allowed to miss TWO classes for the year. This Leader Launch is to fulfill what its name implies: a pathway for calling, equipping, and releasing humble saints in our church and the city. We would hope everyone who graduates from Leader Launch would begin to use the skills and content in greater ways in the church (Examples: Lead or start a new Community Group; Department lead in Kids Ministry; Begin to lead a Sunday hospitality team; Create and lead a Scarlett Hope outreach team; Join Women’s/Men’s Leadership teams; Serving as a Deacon, or possibly joining the Pastor in Training process)
