1. What does it mean to you to have Spiritual Resilience? Or good spiritual health?
2. Read Matthew 7:24-27 and Psalms 1:2-3 NLT and discuss: Have you experienced a time where you knew your spiritual house was built on “the rock”? What was the difference when the storms of life hit you? What does it mean to you to be rooted in God’s word? What are practical ways you have found work for you to get into His word regularly?
3. Read 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NLT and discuss: How important is a regular prayer life? What practical things have you done to cultivate a more consistent prayer life? (ei: Set reminders to pray, prayer partners, prayer journal, etc)
4. Read Hebrews 10:24-25 NLT and discuss: What are ways that we can engage with our faith community in a greater capacity? Where can we get involved that we are not currently doing? What is your next step to building greater spiritual resilience?
