River of Delights

Momentum 2023

The River of Delights

April 30, 2023 • David Lyon

The Bible begins and ends with descriptions of a river flowing out from God’s presence to carry His love and life into all the world (Genesis 2, Revelation 22), and this powerful imagery of life-giving water recurs in the Psalms, Prophets and Gospels. Against this backdrop we consider four key prophetic words spoken into our church that have shaped us over many years and helped us in our mission “from the heart of the nation to the ends of the earth”. These words continue to carry his love and life into the DNA of our church and are now more relevant than ever, as we look ahead to all that God wants to accomplish in and through us!…

Power & Peace in Prayer

April 29, 2023 • Izzy Norris

The theme of Momentum 2023 as a whole is "RIVER OF DELIGHTS” (Ps 36:8) and we will focus the Saturday morning on DEVOTIONAL DELIGHTS - sharing on aspects of our personal devotional lives in a way that everyone can feel instructed, inspired, encouraged and helped practically in how they can enjoy an enriched devotional life. We want to emphasise that these things are the bedrock of our relationship with the Lord and that drawing close to Him each day in these ways is our privilege and delight, not a pressure or a duty! (see Ps 1:1-3).
