One of the marks of the Church is that it is a community of people committed to the discipleship or discipline of one another for the sake of the holiness and maturity of the Church. A church committed to discipline is a church that takes the need for transformation seriously; one that is concerned with being holy and believes the gospel and the indwelling Holy Spirit are powerful enough to bring us to maturity in Christ.
