As with any weapon or technology, such as firing a rifle, driving a car or flying a plane, extensive ongoing education, orientation and practical application ensure the effective use of any device. The same can be said regarding weapons, tools and gifts of the Spirit; possession is but one component. Knowledge and wisdom gained from experience and "refresher" training validate one's ability to use a thing properly. Proper practical application comes by the merging of knowledge with experience.
