This event is going to be a blast! ~2 hours of floating/paddling followed by ~3 hours of barbecue and Godly manly goooood time! Come for all or part. All men 16+ are welcome. Here's the deets: Launch spot: Chamna Natural Preserve parking lot cross from Beaver bark on the Yakima River in Richland. We will launch at 1:15, so please arrive well before then. Flotation devices: We recommend only paddling type crafts as the water is slack in places. This also keeps you out of the cold water. No Walmart blowup unicorns ;) Men who want to borrow a kayak or canoe, please enter that in your online registration or contact Kyle at (208)315-5211 - many folks have generously offered extra vessels. Landing spot and BBQ: We expect to land at about 3:30 along the gravel access road located at the end of the parking lot north of the boat launch by Wye Park off of Columbia Park Trail. Exact location can be obtained day of the trip by contacting Kellen at (509)554-0460. Drive there, walk there, bike there, or of course paddle there. Shuttle back to Chamna will be provided at the end of the gathering (thanks Curtis!) Please sign up by Friday morning June 10 so we know how much food to provide.
