Some 2,000 years ago, Jesus' love for us took Him to the cross, where he chose to suffer physical pain, humiliation, and death to pay the price for sin that we couldn't. But Jesus' story doesn't end there - Through His resurrection, He conquered death so that we may live forever together with Him in heaven.
1 Peter 3:18, "For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit;"
