Helping Us Follow Jesus

In following Jesus we need help! If you could do everything by yourself you wouldn’t need help. But, you cannot follow Jesus without depending on the power of the Helper, the Holy Spirit. When we follow Jesus, we follow the Spirit of truth (our Guide) and the word of God which is the truth.
Coming Closer To Jesus

Jesus has called each one of us to follow Him. In fact our spiritual life with God begins with taking that first step to follow Jesus. Following Jesus is a lifelong journey of faith where we make Him the Lord of our lives. He leads and we follow. In order to follow Him we must be close enough to Him that we can see what He is doing and hear His instructions to us. He wants us to come closer to Him so that He can come closer to us.
