Do we start out in the "flesh" and end up in the "spirit" when we praise and worship the Lord? Rarely do we feel like stopping what we are doing to take a praise break...but we need it! How do we increase our demonstration of how much we love and appreciate our Heavenly Father?

Worship is giving God the adoration, attention, and love that is due Him. As we grow in our relationship with Him, we also grow in our expression of worship. Worship requires repeated and consistent action. It flows from our hearts and becomes the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. Truly, there is no such thing as silent worship.

True worship is drawing near to God with our whole heart. The Father is pleased with sincere worship that is not ritualistic and just "going through the motions". By being led by the Holy Spirit in our worship we are able to break with the routine and avoid the pitfalls of what could be hypocritical worship.

Praise and Worship are not about singing and performing but about relationship, your relationship with your Heavenly Father. It is pleasing to the Lord to receive your gratitude for what He has done for you. It should not be difficult but natural to give Him our praise, adoration and affection. Our worship is the outward sign of a growing relationship with Him.
