Snow Day 2022

January 16, 2022 • Phillip Murdock • Matthew 8:24–26

Our guess is, this storm will likely keep some from working today. Not so much here, but west of us for sure. It certainly has cancelled any outdoor plans you might have had for today. Chances are, some of you have been aggravated by this weather. You have things to get done. Places to go.

However, what if we used this time to do something else... to simply STOP... to be still... to know that He is God. To consider his greatness and his smallness. To consider the intricate details of something as small as a snowflake and know that we serve a MIGHTY God.

Reclaimed

January 30, 2022 • Phillip Murdock • 2 Corinthians 5:17

Our culture loves to reclaim and repurpose just about anything. From pallets, to old windows to old wooden barrels, we will find it a new home and a new purpose. What a great parallel to what God does for us when we surrender our lives to Him. He reclaims our stories, even the messy parts, and He gives them a new purpose; to glorify Him. Join us during the month of January as we discover the many ways that God reclaims our lives and the lives of others.

In this sermon we will take a look at how and why God reclaimed this broken situation and what lessons we can learn from it.
