During the month of March, LifePointe will be collecting a variety of food items that will be used to support J.Blaine Blayton Elementary students who are food insecure. Every Friday, the JBB school staff sends home a simple breakfast, lunch, and snack for kids to have on Saturday and Sundays, and they also provide hygiene items each month such as toothpaste/toothbrushes and soap. Right now they are serving 22 students and are needing help supporting them. Adopting the food pantry for a month will provide 88 weekend lunches and 88 breakfasts for our food insecure students for the entire month! Stop by the Pantry Board in the lobby at church and grab a ticket or two for food items needed to stock the JBB Student Food Pantry. All month long, you can bring these items to the church and drop them off in the big blue bin in the Gathering Space. If you have any questions or are curious about how you help serve our community alongside LifePointe and our Outreach Team, please send them an email. Someone will connect with you soon.
