This Is How We Change The World
The Gospel: ACCEPTED
October 24, 2021
This is message two of four messages that will be equip you to share the gospel using four words & four stories that illustrate it. This message brings home the powerful point that the Gospel is God's unconditional acceptance of you into His Kingdom , into His family & into His mission. This truth comes alive through the story of the woman accused of adultery. Christ's acceptance of her baffles the woman's religious accusers and brings astonishing relief to her. In Christ all are accepted. The gospel is a call to embrace & enjoy this life changing reality!
The Gospel: FORGIVEN
October 17, 2021
This is one of four messages that will equip you to share the gospel using four words & four stories that illustrate it. This message brings home the powerful point that the Gospel is a proclamation of forgiveness of sins rather than a conditional proposition. This truth comes alive through the story of the healing of the paralyzed man. In Christ all sins are forgiven. The gospel is a call to embrace & enjoy this life changing reality!
You Give
October 3, 2021
Using the story of the feeding of the 5000, this message invites us all to think and act from a heavenly instead of an earthly perspective when addressing problems in our communities. As Jesus demonstrated, present with every problem is hidden a solution that we can see, access and implement! Because we know we have been authorized & empowered, we can witness a miracle first hand by following Jesus’ instruction: “YOU GIVE”
Jesus The Samaritan
September 26, 2021
Using the classic parable of the “Good Samaritan” this message invites us to see the story in a new clarifying light: the finished work of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Samaritan who found us , rescued us , restored us & took care of us . His dramatic act of mercy reveals His love & acceptance for all of humanity without exception, empowering us to do the same.
Eternal Life Here & Now
September 19, 2021
We are about to enter the part of our sermon series where we’ll learn to engage our neighbors with love through our actions and our words. This message pauses to recalibrate our understanding of some of the most misunderstood topics of the Bible: Heaven, eternal life, salvation & the kingdom of God. This will allow us to engage our neighbors with greater clarity, confidence & purpose!
Holy Eating
September 5, 2021
Communion ought to be a time of celebrating Christ’s finished work on the cross. It ought to be a time when we proclaim his victory over sin and sickness. Yet for many, communion is a time of navel-gazing self-examination. It’s a time of asking, Am I good enough for God? Am I worthy? Jesus said “take this cup in remembrance of me,” but we often drink in remembrance of ourselves. This is a misplaced focus. Communion isn’t about you but him. So where's the confusion coming from? It's a misreading of the grace Apostle's letter to the Corinthians, chapter 11, a passage that I will unpack in great detail in my message entitled, "Holy Eating".
Dirty Eating
August 29, 2021
Are you an influencer or the influenced? The magnetic influence of Jesus after 2,000 years truly defies explanation. But the reason for His influence does not elude us . How was Jesus able to entertain dinner guests that were considered the absolute worst that Jewish society had to offer at the time while maintaining His integrity, focus and identity? This message provides the powerful answer which can make all who listen carry the same magnetic influence that Jesus exuded.

Begin With Prayer: Perspective
July 18, 2021 • Bryan Finley
How will we ever see our communities transformed by the goodness of the Gospel? We must begin with prayer! However, if we begin praying for our neighbors from the wrong perspective, we may be guilty of "praying" curses rather than blessings! Using the story of Peter's vision in Acts 10, we will realign our perspective so that we can RECLAIM our neighbors as God's people!
