In this sermon, we look an often overlooked event between Jesus and Peter. Although a bit odd on the surface, Jesus’ payment of Peter’s temple tax is a beautiful foreshadow of what would occur just a few chapters later in the crucifixion.

The Good Samaritan is perhaps the most famous parable that Jesus shared. However, it is often made too simplistic or overly complicated. From this passage, we learn that every human alive is in the neighborhood of God, and therefore, we ought to care for everyone as our neighbor.
