Discover the profound connection between the gift of prophecy and God’s abundant love. Jesus came to make the Father known and bring us into a relationship of love, unity, and purpose. Through inspiring stories of faith, such as a testimony of healing through worship and the calling of missionaries stepping out to spread the Gospel, this message highlights how prophecy edifies and comforts, transforming lives and bringing encouragement to God’s people.
This isn't about predicting the future, but rather about allowing God to speak through us to edify, exhort, and comfort others. We're reminded that prophecy isn't reserved for a select few, but is available to all believers. This revelation challenges us to step out in faith, to listen for God's voice, and to be vessels of His love and encouragement to those around us. As we pursue love and desire spiritual gifts, we open ourselves to be used by God in powerful ways, transforming not only our lives but the lives of those we encounter.
As we embrace the season of giving, this sermon reflects on how God’s love empowers us to share His blessings generously with others. It’s a reminder of how we can experience God and enjoy life through love, obedience, and generosity. Join us for this impactful teaching and celebrate the true joy and meaning of Christmas, rooted in unity, faith, and the spirit of giving.

Exceedingly Abundantly Above
December 8, 2024 • Pastor Mark Machen • John 17:3, Ephesians 2:10, Psalm 37:4, Daniel 11:32, Ephesians 3:20
Jesus came to make the weak strong and equip His people for a life of purpose, power, and victory. You are not just saved; you are empowered to know Him, to be strong, and to do great exploits. You are born into royalty, designed to carry His power and glory, and marked to reign in life. God has already prepared good works for you to walk in—all He needs is your “yes.”
You are the workmanship of Jesus, and He doesn’t make junk. It's time to release the mindset that you are “less than” or “unqualified” for what God has called you to do. The Bible declares that if you call on the name of the Lord, you are His beloved child, created for good works and destined to reign. Living from this identity as a favored son or daughter positions you to experience God’s blessings, no matter the circumstances. Like John, who referred to himself as the one Jesus loved, your words and actions reflect your revelation of your identity in Christ.
God is not only interested in your service but also in your desires. He takes pleasure in the prosperity and success of His people. His goodness, mercy, grace, and favor are chasing you down, preparing a table for you in the presence of your enemies and leading you beside still waters. Everything in the Lord’s Prayer is a declaration and decree, not a request, aligning your life with God’s Kingdom. You are marked for greatness, unity, and power, created to know God deeply, live in His favor, and walk boldly in your calling.
This is the time to embrace your identity and step into the fullness of the life God has prepared for you!
