Even though at times God affords physical, financial, or political strength and power, we must realize that many times He asks us to be a church of little strength (as it relates to human and/or worldly power). God asks us to be patient, faithful, obedient and perseverant as we depend upon His power in the moment. God rewards the church that has inner strength because they depend upon Jesus. Jesus protect, refines and vindicates His church in His time and in His ways. The world says the physical life of a person is to be protected at all costs, but God sometimes uses the saints holy suffering to win other souls to Him, refining the sufferer as they hope for what is beyond this world.
