The Place We Find Ourselves Parent Guide: Each week during the next 3 weeks we will be engaging our kids in teaching that goes along with the sermons from Pastor Nirup. As we are challenged as a church to encounter the work of God in us and experience the work of God through us, we pray that this is a time where you can bring your family alongside of you to see how the Lord is working in finding a place for us to plant roots in this city and develop a legacy for our kids to grow up in a place they call home. What to Expect: Each week the kids content will include worship, a teaching video, and will be hosted by some very special guests, please help your kids get connected so they can watch through the LifeGate App. How to engage with them through the week: On Sunday’s encourage your kids to learn and worship, maybe even watch the kids content together as a family. Talk to your kids about what they learn and what questions they have. Hopefully, they will ask you to print out the Weekly Challenge Checklist for them; this will have 3-4 weekly challenges to help them practice what they are learning about and engage them in participating in what we are doing as a whole church. Week 1: We will focus on how Zacchaeus finds FREEDOM through Jesus, ask them What do you think freedom means in your life? Week 2: We will focus on how Zacchaeus experienced heart change and gratitude and FAITH, ask them how their hearts have been changed because they know Jesus? Week 3: We will focus on Zacchaeus finds JOY, which leads him to respond to Jesus and to his community, ask them how they can share the joy of Jesus with their friends. To recap: 1.
