At LCCA, we believe that knowing the Word of God is one of the most beneficial disciplines any believer can practice. Unfortunately, American culture has become overwhelmingly Biblically illiterate over the past several decades. since the 1950s, Awana Clubs have been used by the Lord to reach kids, equip leaders, and change the world by engaging kids and adults with God's Word!

Awana's goals are: 

1. To reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ

2. To train them to serve Him.

Awana focuses on challenging your child to:

1. Memorize Scripture

2. Engage with Biblical truth

3. Energize with fun games on a weekly basis!

There is one aspect of our Awana club that may make us different from many others is that our club happens on Friday night. Why Friday night? We want our Awana moms and dads to be able to have "date night" while their kids learn to love and serve Jesus! Our Awana program isn’t just for kids, it’s an investment in the whole family!
