Listen to Pastor Brandon teach on the full chapter of Jeremiah 29 that surrounds the commonly quoted and misunderstood verse 11, "For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." God does have beautiful plans for us, even when we are in exile. We are to do good, not for our own sake, not for our tribe's sake, but for the sake of the city. This aligns with Jesus who came to do good for our sake in a world corrupted by sin.
