Colossians 1:18
And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the first born from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

Hebrews 13: 17
Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you.

1 Peter 5:2 - 4
Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, serving as overseers – Not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, But being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.

2 Chronicles 1:7 - 12
That night God appeared to Solomon and said to him, “Ask for whatever you want me to give you.” Solomon answer God, “You have shown great kindness to David my father and have made me king in his place. Now, Lord God, Let your promise to my father David be confirmed, for you have made me king over a people , who are as numerous as the dust of the earth. Give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may lead this people, For who is able to govern this great people of yours?” God said to Solomon, “Since this is your heart’s desire and you have not asked for wealth, riches or honor, nor for the death of your enemies, and since you have not asked for a long life, but for wisdom and knowledge to govern my people over whom I have made you king, therefore wisdom and knowledge will be given you. And I will also give you wealth, riches and honor, such as no king who was before you ever had and non after you will have”.
