Definition of "FAITH"
(1) Complete trust or confidence in someone or something.
(2) Strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual rather than proof.
Romans 10:17
“So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”
(KJV says “Word of God”)
Hebrews 11:1-3
“1 faith Now is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction (evidence) of things not seen. 2 For by it the people of old received their commendation. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.
Matthew 17:20
“He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”

Faith Healing
Matthew 9:18-26 (Woman with the issue of blood). Verse 22, “Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.”
Matthew 9:27-31 (Two blind men are healed by Jesus). Verse 28, “‘Do you believe that I am able to do this?’ They said, ‘Yes, Lord.’”
Luke 17:11-19 (the ten lepers) Verse 19, “Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well.”
Luke 18:35-43 (a Blind Beggar) Verse 42, “Recover your sight; your faith has mad you well.”
Matthew 8:5-13 (Jesus heals a Centurian’s servant) Verse 13, “Go; let it be done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed at that very moment.
Matthew 15:21-28 (Delivers the Canaanite Woman’s daughter from a demon) Verse 28, “O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed instantly.
