Blessings - God's favor and protection.

God’s favor - What is it? The best definition of the word favor is “demonstrated delight.”

God shows favor to the ones who delight in... connect with... and give honor to Him.

Isaiah 66:2 “All these things my hand has made, and so all these things came to be, declares the Lord. But this is the one to whom I will look: he who is humble and contrite in spirit and trembles at my word.”

2 Chronicles 16:9 “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him...”

Isaiah 41:10
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Assurances of the Blessed
1. The Assurance that nothing can happen to us apart from His good
purpose.

Romans 8:28 “And we know that for those who love God all things work
together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”

2. The assurance that God is always watching me and listening to me.

Psalm 34:15 “The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears
toward their cry.”

3. The assurance that my sins are covered!

Romans 4:7 ““Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and
whose sins are covered...”

4. The assurance that God is ALWAYS with us!

Isaiah 41:10 "fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your
God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my
righteous right hand.

Matthew 28:20 “teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.
And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
