Church Cancellation

Lead Pastor Tim Moen

Hello Liberty Church,

I trust this letter finds you doing well.  I am writing today to bring you some updates from the church.

As you may be aware, several states have been issuing executive orders limiting gatherings in order to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus. Though Massachusetts has not yet issued an executive order several of our schools, colleges and businesses have been closing their doors.

Our pastoral leadership team has met to discuss what all of this means and most importantly how we will respond as a church.  We have also networked with several churches in the area and a few throughout the country to make the best decisions we can for our Liberty Church family.

In light of the circumstances, we have made the decision to cancel all Liberty Church activities for this weekend. There will be no Student Life or ManUp worship service tomorrow night, March 13th. We have also cancelled all our services for this weekend, March 14th and 15th as well as all church activities over the weekend.

However, on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. I will be broadcasting live with our worship team to bring you a worship service.  You can find us on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/LibertyChurchesMA or search for Liberty Churches on YouTube.  You can also find these links by going to our website at http://www.libertychurches.org   Although the church will be closed, we will still have the opportunity to worship together via social media and praying you are able to join in with us.

Finally, let me leave you with this, Jesus says in Matthew 16:18, “I will build my church and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.”  We do not need to fear, but we do want to be wise. We know we have an enemy that wants to destroy and wreak havoc but our God is greater and we continue to trust in Him.

Praying for you and your family.  You are loved.

Loving People to Christ,
Pastor Moen
