John 14:26

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

Ephesians 5:15-21

15 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise,

16 making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.

17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,

19 addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart,

20 giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

21 submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:18

18 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

We can’t always give thanks FOR everything, but we can always give thanks IN everything.
~Ruth Bell Graham

The heart must be alive with gracious gratitude, or the leaf cannot long be green with living holiness.
~C.H. Spurgeon

I have not always found it easy to practice this duty; this I confess to my shame.
~C.H. Spurgeon

Colossians 3:17

17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Job 1:21

21 Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 4:15

15 For it is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God.

Psalm 103:1-5

God fills my life with good things.
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Romans 12:2

12 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Deuteronomy 28:1-3

And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God. Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field.

Philippians 4:11-13

Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

Learning to live Abundantly!

May 3, 2020 • Lead Pastor Tim Moen

There are basically... two different mentalities... when it comes to how we think of our finances... resources... and our possessions. #The SCARCITY Mentality is rooted in selfishness #An ABUNDANCE Mentality creates room for GENEROSITY Matthew 6:26 "Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” Ephesians 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.” Proverbs 10:22 “The blessing of the LORD makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.” #God is Primarily concerned with all of the Spiritual or Heavenly Blessings! Matthew 6:19-21 19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Mark 8:36 “For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?” Ephesians 1:7-10 7 “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, 8 which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight 9 making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ 10 as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.” #The ABUNDANCE Mentality... Is ROOTED in the fact... That God gives us every Spiritual blessing... IN CHRIST! 2 Corinthians 8:9 (NLT) “You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich.” Ephesians 5:1 “Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children.” Jesus modeled GENEROSITY in every single way! Ephesians 3:19-20 19 “Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Galatians 3:13a ”Christ bought us with His blood...” You now fully belong to God!

God Is For Us

John 14:16 ”And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever". Romans 8:31-39 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers…nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” Acts 17:24a “The God who made the world and everything in it…" Isaiah 40:28a “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth…” 2 Corinthians 5:21 “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” John 8:36 “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” Philippians 3:9 “and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith.” 2 Corinthians 11:23-28 says, Are they servants of Christ? I am a better one—I am talking like a madman—with far greater labors, far more imprisonments, with countless beatings, and often near death. Five times I received at the hands of the Jews the forty lashes less one. Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I was adrift at sea; on frequent journeys, in danger from rivers, danger from robbers, danger from my own people, danger from Gentiles, danger in the city, danger in the wilderness, danger at sea, danger from false brothers; in toil and hardship, through many a sleepless nights, in hunger and thirst, often without food, in cold and exposure. And, apart from other things, there is the daily pressure on me of my anxiety for all the churches. John 16:33 "I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation…. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” 1 Corinthians 15:55 “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” #We are more than conquerors! #We will never be separated from the love of God. #God’s Love is a moment-by-moment love! Isaiah 43:2 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.” #God’s Love is a particular love! Romans 10:9-10 Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. #God’s love is a preserving love! Deuteronomy 31:8 “It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it. Psalm 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

The Surrender - part 2

March 29, 2020 • Lead Pastor Tim Moen

The SURRENDER is the most powerful place that anyone of us could find ourselves in. Matthew 16:24 “Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.” The VICTORY you are seeking from God requires your complete SURRENDER to Him in every part of your life! Mark 11:4-6 4 “And they went away and found a colt tied at a door outside in the street, and they untied it. 5 And some of those standing there said to them, “What are you doing, untying the colt?” 6 And they told them what Jesus had said, and they let them go.” Mark 16:15-16 15 "And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. Philippians 1:20-21... 20 “it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death. 21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 14 “if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 1 John 1:9 9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Romans 10:9-10 9 “ if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.” Let’s pray!
