1 Corinthians 13:13 13 “So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” Knowing God through Love 7 Dear friends, let us love one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 The one who does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent His One and Only Son into the world so that we might live through Him. 10 Love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Dear friends, if God loved us in this way, we also must love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God. If we love one another, God remains in[d] us and His love is perfected in us. 13 This is how we know that we remain in Him and He in us: He has given assurance to us from His Spirit. 14 And we have seen and we testify that the Father has sent His Son as the world’s Savior. 15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God—God remains in him and he in God. 16 And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him. 17 In this, love is perfected with us so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, for we are as He is in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; instead, perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. So the one who fears has not reached perfection in love. 19 We love because He first loved us. Keeping God’s Commands 20 If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For the person who does not love his brother he has seen cannot love the God he has not seen. 21 And we have this command from Him: The one who loves God must also love his brother. God initiates His love two primary ways. First: He sent Jesus Christ His son to rescue us... Secondly: He sends His Holy Spirit to draw you towards Himself. What are we to do with God Initiated Love? 1. Receive It! Romans 10:9-10 9 “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.” 2. Enjoy It! • Remember daily what Christ has done for us! • Daily spend time in his Word! • Express your gratitude for His love! • Get out into God’s creation! • Be still... Get quiet... Just listen! • Sing... Worship... Express yourself towards Him! • Just tell Him you love Him! 3. Give It! • Be open about your faith! • Serve others! • Be generous! • Pray for others! • Be intentional! • Invitations to church or your small group!

Matthew 6:24-33 24 No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. 25 Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? 28And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, 29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Luke 4:18 18 Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed. #God's got you covered! 1 Peter 5:8 8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Genesis 22:5 5 Then Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey; I and the boy will go over there and worship and come again to you.” # ”THE LORD WILL PROVIDE” Abraham named the place Yahweh-Yireh (Jehovah Jireh) Matthew 6:27 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? Psalm 20:7 7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. Psalm 9:10 10 And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you. 1 Peter 5:6-7 6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, 7 casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. Ephesians 5:15-21 15 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, 19 addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, 20 giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 21 submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 18 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. We can’t always give thanks FOR everything, but we can always give thanks IN everything. ~Ruth Bell Graham The heart must be alive with gracious gratitude, or the leaf cannot long be green with living holiness. ~C.H. Spurgeon I have not always found it easy to practice this duty; this I confess to my shame. ~C.H. Spurgeon Colossians 3:17 17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Job 1:21 21 Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 4:15 15 For it is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God. Psalm 103:1-5 God fills my life with good things. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. Romans 12:2 12 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Deuteronomy 28:1-3 And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God. Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field. Philippians 4:11-13 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

Hello Liberty Church, I trust this letter finds you doing well. I am writing today to bring you some updates from the church. As you may be aware, several states have been issuing executive orders limiting gatherings in order to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus. Though Massachusetts has not yet issued an executive order several of our schools, colleges and businesses have been closing their doors. Our pastoral leadership team has met to discuss what all of this means and most importantly how we will respond as a church. We have also networked with several churches in the area and a few throughout the country to make the best decisions we can for our Liberty Church family. In light of the circumstances, we have made the decision to cancel all Liberty Church activities for this weekend. There will be no Student Life or ManUp worship service tomorrow night, March 13th. We have also cancelled all our services for this weekend, March 14th and 15th as well as all church activities over the weekend. However, on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. I will be broadcasting live with our worship team to bring you a worship service. You can find us on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/LibertyChurchesMA or search for Liberty Churches on YouTube. You can also find these links by going to our website at http://www.libertychurches.org Although the church will be closed, we will still have the opportunity to worship together via social media and praying you are able to join in with us. Finally, let me leave you with this, Jesus says in Matthew 16:18, “I will build my church and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.” We do not need to fear, but we do want to be wise. We know we have an enemy that wants to destroy and wreak havoc but our God is greater and we continue to trust in Him. Praying for you and your family. You are loved. Loving People to Christ, Pastor Moen
