Everyday Mom - The Blessing

The Blessing

May 10, 2020 • Pastor Mary Bard

Being a mom is a blessing of God and a position that I don't think should be taken lightly no matter your motherly roll in a child's life both young and old.

Psalm 127:3 "Behold children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward."

2 Tim 1:5 5 For I am mindful of the sincere faith within you, which first dwelt in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am sure that it is in you as well.

Titus 2:7 7 And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching.

Proverbs 31:25-26 "Strength and dignity are her clothing and she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue."

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

James 3:13 If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom.

1 Corinthians 16:13-14 Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.
Rose Kennedy was quoted as saying: “Whenever I held my newborn baby in my arms, I used to think that what I said and did to him could have an influence not only on him but on all whom he met, not only for a day a month or a year, but for all eternity.”

Number 6:24-26 The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.

God bless you and Happy Mother's Day!
