What is your ultimate goal? What motivates you to rise each morning? What fuels your passion? If our aim becomes merely to get through the day or to exist in survival mode, we risk overlooking the profound purpose behind our calling as Christians in this Kingdom of Priests.

God's Presence ought to be our primary focus and aspiration. When we make this our destination and priority, everything else in our lives will align as it should. We have been given access to the family of God through Jesus and there is a reverence and love for the Lord that comes as we seek to live holy. The more we get to know Him, we more we humbly want to follow His footsteps and reflect Him in our world. Why? Because His Presence is everything.

The Word says that we are called to function and reign in this world as a priest. It's a title that is a privilege, it is a honor, but most importantly, it is our duty. Because of Jesus, we have been given a position to live as priests and rule and reign as representatives of Jesus here on this earth. But as we've been reading these Scriptures, the question is raised: what does that look like for us? Just as the priests were required in the Bible, there are duties that we are responsible for. Pastor Katherine spent time in this third week of our series "A Kingdom of Priests" to outline our duties as priests. It's a lesson in understanding how the priests of the Bible performed there duties, but there is clear direction for how we can act in our priestly duties just as the priests of the tabernacle, all because of Jesus.

The Bible clearly mentions that we are priests unto God, and if we are a follower of Christ, than we are to be a priests that serve Him. What does that actually look like?
