The sermon focuses on the unexpected detours in life and how we respond to them, using the story of Joseph's journey as a primary example. From being sold into slavery to becoming a trusted servant in Egypt, and eventually being imprisoned for a crime he didn't commit, Genesis chapter 39 illustrates that God's plans often take us to places we didn't expect. Despite these detours, God's presence and favor remained with Joseph, teaching us to trust in God's bigger picture and to maintain our integrity regardless of circumstances.
