How Happiness is Learned, Part 1

From the series: HABITS THAT LEAD TO HAPPINESS

July 19, 2020 • Pastor Brandon Buchert

Many people think that happiness is simply a matter of luck. They think if you're happy, you're just lucky. You have happy circumstances, so congratulations to you.

Actually, happiness can be learned. There are certain qualities that can cause our happiness to go up exponentially. If you don't have these qualities in your life, your unhappiness will go up exponentially.

You probably have never thought about this, but you know what I'm talking about, because you can instinctively pick out qualities that cause you to be happy and qualities that cause you to be unhappy.

This Sunday we will learn from our role models in Philippians, in Part 1 of "Habits that Lead to Happiness: How Happiness is Learned."

How to Develop Daily Habits for Happiness, Part 2

August 9, 2020 • Pastor Dan Buchert

Paul gives us another five habits that lead to happiness in the book of Philippians. All five of these can be done on a daily basis. They can be done during a fifteen minute quiet time alone with God. If you'll build these habits into your life, the happiness in your life will grow exponentially. So I look forward to "seeing" you on Sunday for Part 2 of "How to Develop Daily Habits for Happiness", so we can learn to apply these principles into our lives to avoid many common pitfalls and traps.
