Series for the Season of Easter – When the Church Prays The first vow we make when we become a part of the covenantal community called the Church, is that we will pray. It is our primary calling! Why does prayer matter so much in the church and our witness in the world? Using the accounts of believers and scriptures from the first “church” in the book of Acts, we will study the difference prayer brings to our church’s life, our believers, and how God uses us for his purposes.
