The Old Testament books of Exodus, Deuteronomy, and Joshua teach us how God works and grows our faith through hardship, guidance. and promise. These epic stories of Moses, Joshua, Rahab, and others give us lessons for our walk with God today. We see our place in accounts of human weakness and faithful leaders. As Israel moved from the bondage in Egypt, we move from bondage to sin. We find hope for a new life in a new place. As God faithfully provided for the Israelites, Christ continues to walk on our journey to new life, showing us how to be His people for today’s challenges.
