Lakewood Methodist Students have had a strong history of leading out in mission following Micah 6:8, to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God. Each summer mission is accomplished when students and adults give a week to serve others in need. Our mission is to provide low-income, elderly, and disabled homeowners with free home repair. Projects include scraping and painting, siding repairs, window and screen repairs, building wheelchair ramps, porch and step repairs, yard maintenance, and community service through partner organizations. This summer we are heading to South DFW June 14 - 20 to serve the community there. We’re in need of both student participants and adult volunteers and would love for YOU to join us!
