Identity Crisis

Discovering a New View Of You

May 9, 2021 • Vince DiPaola

From the time we are born, we all begin to form our own personal identity. It is shaped by both our personality and our personal experiences. But somewhere along the way as we grow up, to one degree or another, all of us have an identity crisis that can negatively impact who we are. What are the most common identity crisis challenges we face? How can we work through them, no matter how big or how small? In this new series beginning on Sunday, “Identity Crisis”, we will examine the number one factor that determines how we view our identity, and provide biblical strategies for addressing some of the most common identity thieves that work to keep us from being all that we can be. If you struggle with identity issues (and we all do), this series will put you on the path to victory.

It is shaped by a number of personal experiences in our life, especially related to our family of origin (aka “nurture”), as well as our own unique personality traits (aka “nature”). But somewhere along the way as we grow up, to one degree or another, all of us have an identity crisis that can negatively impact who we are. What are the most common identity crisis challenges we face? How can we work through them, no matter how big or how small? In this series, we will examine the number one factor that determines how we view our identity, and provide biblical strategies for addressing some of the most common identity thieves that work to keep us from being all that we can be. And we’ll have a message and baptism service dedicated to illustrate new life in Jesus. If you struggle with identity issues (and we all do), this series will put you on the path to victory.
