Who should I be?

We are cracked vessels, designed to display beauty but leaking at every break. But God redeems his image bearers by sending his Son to be the perfect image bearer. Christ is “the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature” (Heb. 1:3). And for every cracked vessel being miraculously restored by grace, he is the answer to the question, “Who should I be?”

To be an image bearer of God means at creation God gave every human being value, dignity, and a deep sense of purpose and calling. As image bearers of God we too are called to be reflectors and show our king’s glory, power and might. Our deepest identity and purpose is wrapped up into this calling that everything about our lives some how point back to Him.
