A 2012 American romantic comedy-drama, Silver Linings Playbook is the next film in the Knox Film Series. This Academy Award winning film is star studded with the leads Bradley Cooper, playing Pat Solitano Jr., and Jennifer Lawrence as Tiffany Maxwell. Also, portraying Pat’s father Pat Solitano Sr. is Robert De Niro, and portraying Pat’s mother is Jacki Weaver. Pat Jr. (Cooper) has just been released from a mental hospital who is determined to restore the love of his ex-wife. He meets Tiffany Maxwell (Lawrence) who says she will help him if he agrees to enter a dance competition with her. The two become closer as they train, and Pat, his father, and Tiffany examine their relationships with each other as they cope with their situations.
