Free and open to the public! This training will be hosted at Klamath Christian Center and will go from 9:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday June 22. Stay for some snacks afterward and get to know others who are committed to protecting our community.
The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course provides strategies, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, the role of professional guardians, civilian response options, and medical issues.
Training is provided by Ben Klecker, the coordinator for law enforcement training in Southern Oregon, and Klamath city and Klamath county police.
