KNIGHT FUND FRIDAY

What is Knight Fund Friday?

October 14, 2022

Did you know 25% of King’s families receive financial assistance? The Knight Fund contributes directly to financial assistance for students with proven need. When you give, you make it possible for students to experience a Christian education from teachers who mentor and nurture them. Your generosity makes a difference!

KNIGHT FUND FRIDAY

October 13, 2021

Have you ever watched a King’s Drama production in Schirmer Auditorium? Have you cheered on any one of our award-winning athletic programs while they face off at Woolsey Stadium or Mike Martin Gym? Or experience Mock Trial arguing their case against opposing counsel? If the answer is yes, you have witnessed how the Knight Fund impacts our students’ lives at King’s Schools. Join us on October 22nd in praying for and giving to the Knight Fund. The Knight Fund enables King’s Schools to provide our students with one of the best Christian educations in the state of Washington. It gives our students numerous opportunities to express themselves creatively through the arts and think critically with extra-curricular activities like DECA, Mock Trial, and Robotics. The Knight Fund also brings our award-winning athletic programs to life. Annual tuition only covers 80% of the cost to educate a student at King’s Schools. The Knight Fund fills that gap with the generosity of our families, alumni, faculty, and King’s donors. Any amount of generosity makes a difference in the lives of our students. Please consider supporting our King’s Community by becoming a monthly donor or making a single gift to the Knight Fund on or before Knight Fund Friday on October 22nd. To hear more about how the Knight Fund impacts our King’s community, join Erick Streelman on October 22nd for coffee and donuts. Coffee with Mr. Streelman will not only be a time to learn more about the Knight Fund but to pray for how God will use these funds to further His Kingdom within our students. Check out what Mr. Streelman has to say about Knight Fund Friday. May God bless this year's Knight Fund Friday!

BY FAITH PRAYER WALKS

September 1, 2021

Kings High School Senior and ASB Spiritual Life Representative Lincoln Going is leading By Faith Prayer Walks to set the tone for the new school year. After 1 ½ years of online hybrid school, most of our students are coming back to campus and many are about to experience a more typical high school environment for the first time. Our vision for King’s to be a true city on a hill, a Christ-centered, caring community that radiates the truth of the gospel. When Mike Martin founded King’s, he walked around the ground praying for it and we are planning to do the same. Our hope is that these prayers will have a powerful effect on setting the tone for the school year. The walks will happen each day September 1st – 6th, meeting on the Front Lawn of the high school at 2 pm and on September 7th from 12- 3 pm. These walks are open to all and we encourage everyone to come.
