It was a dark Friday almost 2000 years ago when Jesus, the Son of God, was crucified on the cross at the hands of Roman soldiers and religious leaders. Jesus experienced grief, abandonment, pain, isolation, mockery, and suffering so that we wouldn't have to. We can leave our grievances and offenses at the foot of the cross. Jesus said, "My yoke is easy and my burden is light." He made this possible through the cross and paved a way for life everlasting!
