We don’t have to be perfect to take communion but to admit that we desperately need it and willing to allow God’s grace to not only forgive but to transform our lives. Communion is the place where we make peace with God, ourselves, and others all through God’s grace.

God's vision is not for us to experience a little bit of holiness in our lives. God wants us to be holy through and through - all the way. Our whole spirit, soul, and body will be keep blameless - completely free from the power of sin. We are not able in our own strength to be blameless. Our faithful God does it for us!

Not only have we been saved from sin, but we have also been given eternal life with God when we said yes to God’s grace. This new life we receive now is only the beginning. We have this new life in Jesus promised to us for eternity.
