Always There

Emily Tenter

January 18, 2020 • Elena Dee • Romans 8:14–39, Psalm 23:4

When the night is dark,

Your light dissolves the shadows.

.

When sadness spills from my heart,

Your mercy dries my tears.

.

When fear extends its grip,

Your protection shields me.

.

When my weaknesses announce defeat,

Your strength supports me.

.

When my worries reign,

Your peace rescues me.

.

When the road is confusing,

Your wisdom guides me.

.

When the future looks dim,

Your promises ignite my hope.

.

When I remember, I am still,

Safe, in the palm of Your hand. • Elena Dee
