The Seder Meal is actually the traditional Passover meal, or as Christians call it, "The Last Supper." This was the meal that Jesus shared with His disciples before His crucifixion. It includes reading, storytelling, eating special foods and singing. The main story of the Seder meal is the telling of the miraculous exodus of the Hebrew children from Egyptian bondage. (Exo. 3-12) This great story is relevant to us today because it reminds us of our freedom from bondage that comes through Christ's death on the cross and His resurrection.
Although the Seder Meal is usually served during Passover (near the time Christians celebrate Christ's resurrection), KCC wants to host this special time of learning and fellowship this Fall as a way to help us grow deeper in our faith and understanding of who God is.
Childcare will be provided for those under Three-Years-Old!
There is no charge for the Seder Meal but we ask you to register you and your family by Sunday, October 27!
